The Project

Riverside Studios is a multi-venue complex located in Hammersmith, London, known for its focus on the arts. It features a theatre, art gallery, cinema, bar, and restaurant. The venue hosts a variety of performances, including theatre productions, dance, and music, as well as film screenings. Riverside Studios has a rich history and has been a significant cultural hub since it first opened in the 1970s. The entire development was demolished and re-built to a much higher specification.

Key value we brought to the project

Farrat designed and provided structural acoustic isolation to the large steel frame that supported all the mechanical and electrical equipment in the roof of each space.

This included full box-in-box isolation to three major TV studios, two large screening rooms, and a fully acoustically isolated loading bay which could take the load of multiple articulated lorries, permitting deliveries while the studios were in use.
