Tenpin Wakefield is a large-scale leisure destination featuring a 24-lane bowling alley, designed to deliver a high-quality entertainment experience within an existing building structure.

The primary challenge for this project was the structural limitation of the existing building, which was unable to support a traditional heavyweight floating floor. A solution was needed that could provide high acoustic performance while remaining lightweight and efficient to install.

Farrat designed, supplied, and installed its specialist BowlFLOOR PRO system to meet the project’s requirements. This lightweight, high-performance acoustic floating floor was selected as it provided excellent vibration isolation without imposing excessive structural load.
