Benefits
Our offices have a great working atmosphere where collaboration plays a large role. Some of the main benefits for working with Farrat include:
Learning & Professional Development
We provide a continuous learning environment so that our people can thrive in their careers.
In order to help our people to become as good as they can be in their professional field, we have built close working relationships with industry recognised bodies to develop training and development programmes. Farrat is a member of:
- The Manufacturing Institute
- The Steel Construction Institute
- The Institute of Structural Engineers
- The Institute of Mechanical Engineers
- The CPD Service
- “Sponsoring Organisation” of the Institute of Acoustics
- The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce
As a result, we have been able to enroll a number of our people on higher education and professional development courses, such as Lean Fellowship’s and MBA’s, alongside regular interpersonal, management and leadership events and seminars. By developing the skills and knowledge of our team, we are able to enhance our processes and manufacture world-class, certified and accredited products for our clients.

Shared Knowledge: Future of Creative Engineering
We offer apprenticeships across all areas of the business, from manufacturing to sales administration.
Our engineers are passionate about what they do. We help to inspire others by regularly planning and engaging with STEM workshops that encourage and educate young people about careers in Science and Engineering. Farrat CEO, Oliver Farrell, and Major Projects Director, Ryan Arbabi, have both been awarded for their work as dedicated STEM Ambassadors by STEM.org.uk.
Farrat have partnered with Innovate UK, The University of Manchester and Salford University to bring on board two KTP Associates, who will work with us on extensive R&D which will be used to advance our products even further.
