The Project

The Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus (TQEC) is the University of Bristol’s bold new campus in the heart of Bristol Temple Quarter. The main building on Cattle Market Road is an interdisciplinary learning and research environment, focusing on teaching and research within the Business School, the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, School of Computer Science, School of Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical Engineering, and School of Engineering Mathematics and Technology.

Key value we brought to the project

Early design co-ordination was required between Farrat, the main contractor and multiple trades to ensure the floating floor system was able to meet specific architectural detailing as well as incorporating many services within the floating floor cavity whilst maintaining high levels of acoustic isolation.

Services, Products, System Supplied:

CineFLOOR LITE
Where an existing structure can’t support the load of a heavyweight floating slab, CineFLOOR LITE utilises our very lowest dynamic stiffness isolators to extract the maximum possible low-frequency performance from a lightweight floating slab.

CineWALL LITE
Where exceptionally high sound insulation is required, but wall mass is low, CineWALL LITE offers uncompromising equivalence with higher grades.
