The Light Bowling Alley is located in the modern Castle Quay complex in Banbury, Oxfordshire.
The development contains a cinema, bowling alley and a range of other leisure activities like karaoke and American pool. Funded by the Cherwell District Council, the venue is part of the regeneration of the town, bringing an added sense of optimism and change. There are 10, fully accessible boutique lanes which act as the perfect space for date nights, family reunions and work nights out. The Light Bowling Alley even offers the opportunity to order food and drink straight to your lane, so you can avoid the queues and stay in the zone. To maintain this disturbance free, animated atmosphere, the alley needed a solution to prevent sound transmission- Farrat was challenged with this task.
