Farrat help 30 grads prepare for their IStructE CM Exam at UoB

Farrat Technical Director for Structural Thermal Break Connections, Stephen Blundell, will be helping 30 grads prepare for their IStructE CM exam by leading a preparation session at the University of Bolton (UoB)on the 18th January.

The prep course is a day long mock exam where candidates are given the opportunity under exam conditions to take a recent exam (generally, the previous year’s exam).
Opportunity will later be given for peer marking and discussion of the mock exam scripts (or other scripts brought to the session).
The IStructE CM exam is a notoriously difficult exam and has a worldwide pass rate hovering just above 30%, however the pass rate for engineers from the IStructE CM Prep course over the last three years has hovered between 50% and 60%.
Session leaders throughout the course period, which runs until March 2017, will include: Jonathan Haynes, University of Salford (JH), Stephen Blundell, Farrat Isolevel (SB), Walter Swann, Tata Steel (WS), Neil Logan, Logan Consulting Engineers (NL), Dave Leung, Lancashire County Council (DL), Philip Powell, Laing O’Rourke (PP),  Les Jones, Curtins (LJ),  Andrew Wilson, GHA Livigunn (AW) and Gareth Whittleston.
