Project Overview
The Challenge
Farrat were called to carry out a vibration investigation to assess the situation and present potential mitigation solutions.
Measurements were taken on and off the foundations in the factory to determine the degree of isolation provided by the inertia blocks, and outside, between the plant and neighboring building to measure vibration propagation to the surroundings.
The Results
Full transmission from foundation to factory floor
