Key value we brought to the project

Our client, the prestigious, professional and high quality light metal construction specialist Baier GmbH needed a load bearing thermal break to support highly loaded point cold bridge connections supporting an ambitions retractable roof window system. STRUKTURA™ TBK load-bearing thermal separators from Farrat, with a compressive strength of 250MPa, thermal conductivity of 0.187 W/mK, ETA certification and simplicity in designing and ordering were the ideal choice.

The custom made TBK plates were delivered by Farrat in a matter of days and were easy to install which as you can see was important to ensure accuracy and safety of the construction.

The Project

The BORA flagship store in Herford, Germany is an impressive example of modern architecture and energy-efficient construction. BORA, known for its innovative kitchen products, has realised its vision of revolutionary kitchen spaces on over 2,000 square metres and extended its values of innovation and sustainability to the new premises in Herford.

Architectural Excellence: The Project

In the new flagship store, customers can familiarise themselves with the entire BORA product range, attend consultation appointments and take part in cooking events. A particular highlight of the building is the restaurant on the open mezzanine floor, which offers guests a special culinary highlight in the open air under the unique convertible glass roof.
