The Project

In 2024, the town of Epsom welcomed a new entertainment centre in the form of a Picturehouse cinema.

The cinema offers 6 screens showing arthouse and blockbuster films, with accessible seating in every screen. There is also the possibility to hire a screen for private parties and events. The cinema is fitted with a cosy, intimate interior, alongside unique, local touches like a specially designed postcard mural to make your cinematic experience feel like home.

Key value we brought to the project

Working for the main contractor, Maeve Contractors, Farrat Installation Services were selected to install a lightweight floating floor solution. CineFLOOR LITE was chosen as the building did not have the structural capacity to incorporate a concrete floating floor. As part of Farrat’s involvement in the project, we also supplied CineWALL PRO and CineTIMBER LITE. These products were selected for their superior ability to reduce sound transmission and enhance the auditory experience within the cinema, highlighting Farrat’s commitment to quality and technical excellence in delivering effective acoustic isolation solutions.
