Ipswich’s largest cinema, the Omniplex in Buttermarket Shopping Centre draws locals and visitors alike to the town’s centre, adding to the increase in visitors Ipswich strives for.

The cinema is surrounded by a great selection of local restaurants, shops and facilities, making it a prime location for people to catch the latest blockbusters. The OmniplexMAXX screen and classic cinema food on offer make it the ultimate cinema experience for audiences. Omniplex aims to create unforgettable memories through their cinemas and therefore tasked Farrat with developing suitable acoustic isolation solutions for their 14-screen cinema.

Key value we brought to the project

Farrat was challenged to deliver optimal acoustic isolation for the large cinema in Ipswich town centre.

In order to achieve the highest quality results, we worked with MAEVE Contractors, Auditoria Services alongside our very own installation team, collaborating as one across the project. Auditoria Services specialise in auditorium seating and therefore were expertly equipped to install our CineSTEEL raked seating isolation products. Farrat Installation Services Ltd used our CineFLOOR products and we also supplied our CineWALL Acoustic Isolation Strips to the project. This professional partnership resulted in a prime acoustic isolation solution for the 14-screen cinema and an incredible sound experiences for audiences in the Omniplex.
