Farrat have a dedicated and specialist Building Acoustics team with an extensive understanding both academically but also practically. We have worked with the leading industry Acousticians particularly in the leisure industry. Our track record in the Cinema, Bowling, TV & Recording, Theatre & Event Halls is second to none. Case studies are available to view for Acousticians who specialise in the science of sound and how it behaves in different environments.

Our portfolio is extensive and has been developed to offer a range of solutions to deliver effective acoustic isolation in timber, steel, or concrete structures.

We provide access to accurate performance data captured in our dedicated R&D Facility where we accurately model and predict acoustic performance. Full access is available to our Knowledge-Hub where Acousticians can compare our range of products used in floors, walls, and large raked seating arrangements.

Our engineering team provide the design and specification input working alongside Acousticians from the outset of a build or refurbishment project. We are seeing a growing trend in multi-entertainment venues so have experience in how to manage acoustic isolation for various applications that may be adjacent to each other.

Sustainability is a important to us all, Farrat have developed alternative ways to reduce the carbon impact that can be demonstrated in our case studies quoting measurable environmental savings.
