Farrat Technical Director, Ryan Arbabi, spent 3 days at Sci-Tech+1 Easter Camplast week (5th, 6th and 7th April) teaching 7 to 11 year olds the principles of Sound, Aerodynamics and Robotics.

SciTech  was established in 1991 to promote Science and Technology to children of all ages through the use of hands on lectures and holiday schools. Their aim is to provide an inspired and secure environment that promotes an enthusiastic enjoyment of learning in children of all ages – developing learning which is targeted, understandable and great fun.

Ryan presented the children with various STEM themed tasks and activities during the Sci-Tech+1 Camp to encourage and increase their understanding of science and technology principles related to; Sound (day 1), Aerodynamics (day 2) and Robotics (day 3).

Tasks were designed to be exceptionally interactive and included building and programing robots, learning about the speed of sound by making things explode and creating ice cream using liquid nitrogen, as just a few examples.
