At Farrat we’re always looking to find new people that are eager to join us on our mission to delight our customers. We’re excited to introduce four new starters to the team based across the company, set to help us achieve a successful and productive 2021.
Meet the new starters at Farrat
Andy Marsh
Operations Manager
Andy Marsh is Farrat’s first dedicated Operations Manager and joined the team in March. He spent twelve years in the army as a member of the Royal Engineers before joining Jaguar Landrover where he spent 8 years at the manufacturing plant in Liverpool.
He most recently in a consultancy role for project 7 carrying out contracts in the UK, Germany and the US for companies including Airbus, Rolls Royce, London Underground and Morrisons. When he’s not in the Farrat office, he likes spending time with his son Leo who is 9, keeping fit and watching sport in his spare time
Dawn Parry
Project Co-ordinator
Dawn Parry is joining Farrat as Project Co-ordinator, where she’ll be liaising with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of our projects and that we continue to delight our clients by meeting all of their requirements and expectations.
Dawn brings with her over 25 years of experience in customer service and has worked with multinational businesses across the world supporting those using construction design software, products and tools for work onsite and in training. She has a 12-year-old daughter (going on 21) and is never far from her favourite office accessory – her coffee cup.
Joann Bibby
Operations Administrator
Joann Bibby is joining Farrat as Operations Administrator, where she’ll be carrying out all of the administrative tasks associated with complex projects from our Building and Acoustics departments, supporting the successful delivery of these projects.
Joann has over 25 years of experience in customer service and has worked across a wide range of sectors. She’s qualified in both CLAIT and ECDL, and is driven in producing work of an exceptionally high standard. She’s a passionate Liverpool FC supporter, manages an Under 15’s football team and is the age group manager for 2 teams of that age group. When restrictions are lifted further, she’s looking forward to a return to the netball court.
Paul Workman
IT Manager
Paul Workman is joining Farrat as our new IT Manager. He’ll be the ‘go to’ for all areas of IT, including the introduction of new software, optimising the use of SAP, creating an internal IT helpdesk, and supporting the increased number of people working remotely.
Paul has worked in IT for as long as he can remember and holds an HNC in Computing. He’s come to us with experience in a range of relevant industries including can manufacturing, flooring, filtration materials, and finance. When he’s not meeting all of our IT needs, he enjoys scuba diving and fell running.
