Farrat is established.
1959
Starts to manufacture Wedge Levelling Mounts and Damping Pads under licence.
1960
Introduces Anti-Vibration Materials and Systems.
1960
First Rubber Mill used on
Farrat Wedgemounts.
1967
First Power Press Line on Farrat AV Materials.
1970
First Isolated Foundations System installed.
1975
Introduces Anti-Vibration Materials and Systems.
1977
Cylindrical Grinder installed
on LA4 Levalators.
1985
Farrat builds a new office and warehouse on site.
1996
On-site testing begins as Farrat opens it’s Research and Development lab.
2012
Farrat invests in resources, grows its Technical and Sales Teams, and expands the Altrincham site with a new land purchase.
2017
Farrat celebrates its 60th year anniversary.
2019
Farrat acquisition of UNIVIB Ltd helps build on the existing Industrial Vibration Isolation offering.
2020
Launched STRUKTRA™
the trademark for our portfolio of market leading Structural Thermal Break Plates following performance validation by the renowned Fraunhofer Institute.

Farrat opens Langenfeld production facility to service DACH
