Ready to learn? Farrat was first introduced to T-Levels through Trafford and Stockport college. T-Levels provide opportunities designed to give students practical skills and hands on experience in a real working environment.
Here at Farrat, we provide a wide range of apprenticeships from Level 3 to Level 7 supporting roles in Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, Business Administration and Human Resources.
Amelia, one of our Quality Engineering apprentices, shares: “So far in my apprenticeship, I’ve learned a wide range of skills that support my day-to-day work across different areas of the business, not just within quality. I’m really enjoying developing my knowledge and becoming more confident in my role, and I enjoy working as part of the team.”
At Farrat we are committed to support the next generation of engineering talent. Our scholarships provide financial assistance and meaningful industry exposure to help students thrive in their studies and future careers.
Learning & Professional Development
We provide a continuous learning environment so that our people can thrive in their careers.
In order to help our people to become as good as they can be in their professional field, we have built close working relationships with industry recognised bodies to develop training and development programmes. Farrat is a member of:
- The Manufacturing Institute
- The Steel Construction Institute
- The Institute of Structural Engineers
- The Institute of Mechanical Engineers
- The CPD Service
- “Sponsoring Organisation” of the Institute of Acoustics
- The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce
As a result, we have been able to enroll a number of our people on higher education and professional development courses, such as Lean Fellowship’s and MBA’s, alongside regular interpersonal, management and leadership events and seminars. By developing the skills and knowledge of our team, we are able to enhance our processes and manufacture world-class, certified and accredited products for our clients.
