We have provided high performance sound insulation for over 1000 auditoria in 120 cinemas around the globe and our goal remains to ensure the cinema goer can enjoy a fully immersive experience without being disturbed by external noise and vibration for example from the neighbouring auditoria, the shopping centre below, bowling alley above, concession area adjacent etc.
The cinema industry has undergone radical change in the last decade with boutique cinemas being favoured in established markets, but large multiplex venues still relevant for emerging markets such as Saudi Arabia and Africa. In all markets cinemas are now mostly being constructed in existing rather than new buildings.
Our Cine range of acoustic isolation systems (CineSTEEL, CineTIMBER, CineWALL and CineFLOOR) come in varying performance levels (Neo, Lite, Pro and MAX) which can be mixed and matched to achieve the particular requirements of your project. They have been independently tested to demonstrate the highest performing in the industry which means that when an operator invests in the latest sound systems such as Dolby Atmos, they don’t need to turn the sound level down to avoid noise break out or into the auditoria.

Film, TV, Recording and Post-Production Studios
As a logical step from the box office release, we move up the value chain to the movie production and post-production where Farrat have been involved in the design and construction of many of the highest specification sound stages in the world. By using our products and expertise, the buildings can be constructed closer together, for example by acoustically isolating one sound stage from another and achieving the maximum possible acoustic performance with the minimal mass even when the requirements include underwater filming and simultaneously filming and setting up in adjacent sound stages etc.
Theatres, Event and Concert Halls
