The Project

A dynamic leisure venue in Norwich’s shopping centre Castle Quarter strives to deliver interactive activities for all.

The Superbowl branch is fitted out with a kids play zone, the ‘Sega Prize Zone’ (Superbowl’s take on an arcade) and 12 ten-pin bowling lanes, sure to entertain the whole family. Castle Quarter’s Superbowl aided the repositioning of the centre into a social, lifestyle space. Farrat designed supplied and installed the BowlFLOOR MAX system within 1 week.

Key value we brought to the project

The project was situated within a busy shopping centre with no easy access for a concrete pipeline. Farrat worked with the main contractor and shopping centre management to carry out the pour over 100lm of concrete pipeline in business hours without causing disruption to the neighbouring tenants and customers.

BowlFLOOR MAX

Eine hohe Schalldämmung für Bowlingbahnen zu gewährleisten, ist schwierig, da die Isolatoren weich und nachgiebig sein müssen, gleichzeitig aber den unterschiedlichen Belastungen im Anlaufbereich, auf den Bahnen und am Pinsetter standhalten müssen. Dies kann zu ungleichmäßigen Durchbiegungen führen. BowlFLOOR basiert auf einem sorgfältig berechneten Trio von Isolatoren und wird mit einer Betonplatte kombiniert, um ein Höchstmaß an Schalldämmung bei einer Durchbiegungskonsistenz nach Wettkampfstandard zu gewährleisten..
