The Project

Cineworld branches across the U.K. premiere the latest blockbusters along with comfortable seats and a variety of refreshments. The Dalton Park Cineworld has been operating since 2016, providing Seaham residents with an entertainment venue in which to relax and enjoy films and streamed theatre performances. The branch offers family and student discounts meaning it is inclusive for everybody and its location within Dalton Park retail park offers a range of restaurants and shops too. Farrat was challenged to refine an acoustic isolation solution for the 7-screen cinema, establishing high-quality sound experiences for patrons.

Key value we brought to the project

Farrat supplied our CineSTEEL and CineWALL PRO ranges to the project and worked with Bowmer and Kirkland, the main contractors, throughout construction. We also installed our CineFLOOR floating floor solution which achieves the highest ratio of acoustic isolation performance vs price in our CineFLOOR ranges. We successfully acoustically isolated the cinema, guaranteeing an excellent sound experience.
