Several years ago, our market leading Structural Thermal Break material Farrat TBK passed independent assessment from the Building Research Establishment (BRE) and was entered as an approved product into the Certified Thermal Details and Products Scheme.
We are now pleased to announce that our A2 fire-rated high-strength Structural Thermal Break material Farrat TBF has followed suit, with new BRE Certified Thermal Details now available online Achieving certification with an impartial association such as the BRE, further establishes Farrat TBF as a leading material for those looking to design buildings that go beyond the standard in both structural integrity and fire safety. Farrat TBF was the first A2 rated fire resistant material of its kind, when released in 2019.
Details provided within this scheme will be invaluable to building design professionals with an interest in creating energy efficient structures and will be especially useful for architects and structural engineers at the specification stage.
“We have always placed a strong emphasis on impartial assessment and certification for our structural thermal break materials,” says Chris Lister, Commercial Manager of Structural Thermal Breaks at Farrat.
